The Kruger National Park

Land of the approximate size of Israel - 19,633 km² - is reserved for the animals in the north-east of South Africa. Men are only welcome as visitors or scientists. Within the sixteen ecozones that have been identified in this National Park live about 147 species of mammals, more than 500 species of birds and more than 150 species of reptiles and amphibians. On the well developed infrastructure (most of the street`s kilometres are tarred) every year about 900,000 visitors drive in search of as many of these animals as possible.
And that`s also what we do: Equipped with several map, binoculars and cameras we start every day at sunrise and look into the bush for 13 hours. Coming from South, we drive through the southern half of the park and make more than 600 kilometres on our way from gate to gate. Surely most of the animals we did not see, but nevertheless we managed to see quite a lot. The list of all of them would be too long to print it here, so we show you a selection of these we managed to photograph ...
